Wrap-around Care
Our wrap-around care 'pod' opened in January 2025. The pod is a purpose built garden room within the front play area at the school. Staff from school are employed to lead sessions at breakfast and after school club which ensures a good continuity of care for our children. The club has been well received by children who attend and their parents. Some children choose to come to sessions even when their parents don't need the childcare!
Children are offered a range of different snacks and are able to make requests for snacks they would like. In the morning the children have a choice of cereal, toast, crumpets, yoghurt and fruit. In the afternoon children are able to choose from snacks such as sandwiches, wraps, crisps, vegetable and fruit, yoghurts and biscuits.
The children are able to access a range of different activities including craft activities, board games, outdoor activities (sports, investigation tasks, role play etc). Staff will also support children to complete homework tasks.
Parents are able to make regular bookings and also one off bookings for their children. Breakfast club costs £6.00 and after school club is £6.00 per hour (so £12.00 for the full session). If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Moulton in the school office.
