Safeguarding
The health and safety of all our children is of paramount importance. Parents and carers send their children to school each day with the expectation that school provides a secure environment in which their children can flourish. We therefore take every practicable measure to ensure that this expectation becomes reality.
Everyone in our community has the responsibility to act on any concerns that they may have about a child’s wellbeing and safety.
If you have a concern about a child you can telephone the East Riding of Yorkshire Safeguarding and Partnership Hub (SaPH) during office hours on 01482 395500. If the concern is urgent or outside office hours call the Emergency Duty Team on 01482 393939.
You can also contact the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000 between 10am and 4pn Monday to Friday.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, call the police on 999.
